The artistic design of the foyer of the Staatliche Kunsthalle Baden-Baden and Café Kunsthalle follows a long tradition. In 2024, the artist Viron Erol Vert (*1975) takes over the redesign and redesign of the rooms. For the redesign of the Café Kunsthalle, entitled Garden of Ornaments, Vert explored the history of Baden-Baden, in particular its spa culture.

70 Years of the Künstlerbund Baden-Württemberg

Founded in 1955, the Künstlerbund Baden-Württemberg will celebrate its 70th anniversary in 2025 – with a special exhibition at a location that is both symbolically and historically significant: the Staatliche Kunsthalle Baden-Baden. It was here, exactly seventy years ago, that the association held its very first exhibition.

Grand Special Exhibition at the Staatliche Kunsthalle Baden-Baden

With “Bloom Up! The Language of Flowers”, the Staatliche Kunsthalle Baden-Baden and the Badisches Landesmuseum Karlsruhe invite visitors to a unique floral experience. The exhibition takes you on a sensuous and intellectually stimulating journey through 2,500 years of the cultural history of flowers: from the ancient Egyptian lotus, through Art Nouveau roses, to digital floral fantasies.
