Same Place, Different Time – under this motto, past and present come together. Today, over 470 artists are members of the Künstlerbund. Their diverse voices make the exhibition a vibrant reflection of artistic development, social issues, and individual perspectives.

The exhibition presents recent works by members of the artists’ association who explore the themes of home, belonging, and change in diverse and creative ways. In their works, the artists reflect on personal experiences, social transformations, and cultural identities, thereby encouraging engagement with questions that are more relevant today than ever. The exhibited pieces range from painting and graphic art to sculpture, photography, and installations, showcasing the remarkable artistic diversity within the association.

The exhibition is complemented by a historical presentation that traces the development of the artists’ association since its founding in 1955, using archival materials, photographs, and documents. Visitors gain insight into the community that has grown over the decades and its ongoing engagement with social and artistic issues.

A comprehensive, richly illustrated catalogue will be published alongside the exhibition. It not only documents the exhibited works and the history of the artists’ association but also includes in-depth texts and essays that place the artistic output of the members and the association’s development within a broader art historical and cultural context.
